Lilya
The year is 1915; World War I is underway. In Petrograd, the young Futurist poet Vladimir Mayakovsky meets a married couple, Lilya and Osip Brik. He reads them his poem *A Cloud in Trousers*; Lilya and Osip fall instantly and forever in love with Mayakovsky’s poetry, recognizing an extraordinary talent—a poetic genius—before them. Vladimir, in turn, falls in love with Lilya—also instantly and forever.
Bomb or boom?
Lilya’s budget has not been published yet — it is scored against the figure once studios report it. Will it make its money back?
